New kitchen cabinets
There are several projects for home improvement that can make that will add value to your property than a kitchen makeover. The price you pay for new kitchen cabinets can be restored when you go to sell your house. Before buying cabinets and even think about installing it is important to a lot of thought to a new design for your kitchen. Since you are a wonderful old cabinets, you have to start over and change all the things that bugged you about your current kitchen for years. Want more counter space and storage? Sink too far from the refrigerator, or want to hang a microwave above the stove? These are all things that can be easily integrated into your design.
Once you’ve discovered where the new cabinets will be located, you can begin to prepare for installation. When the room is drawn, repair any damage to walls and paint the area that will be visible behind the cabinets. It’s much easier to paint before the cabinets are installed, and then, if necessary, go back and do touch up work that may be required. With a pencil draw the cabinets must be installed to serve as guidance to ensure their place. You can also choose to mark where the studs in the wall, so you know where to put the screws to hold the cabinets in place.
It is best to start installing the wall cabinets first. Because they are located above the cabinet, you will have more room to maneuver. You will need during installation, power screwdriver, drywall screws, hammer, discs, and plumb. Start by Plumb to mark a line across the bottom of the wall where it will be placed in the bottom of the wall cabinet. Next, you want to do T-loops of two fours, you will use to hold cabinets in place while you give them to the wall.
begin to install the upper cabinets in the corner and make your way to the middle of the room. Any wall cabinet should be secured to studs in the wall with two screws on top and two on the bottom of the cabinet. Check each room to ensure it is level from side to side and from front to back. If it is not level use slices to balance it. Besides giving the cupboards, each cupboard on the wall is screwed into each other. If necessary, use a bracket to hold the cabinets together until the screws can be installed. At the top, work on the base cabinets. Again, it is extremely important to ensure that they are a level before you give them to the studs in the wall.
